Hello there.

During the long cold winter evenings here at Lister Road we like to have a bit of fun.

So once all the family, whippets an' all, have finished bathing and we've spent half an hour laughing at the Lancastrian antics of those la de da Mancunians on Coronation Street, we stow the tub away from infront of the fire and young Arthur (he always were the brightest in family) carefully gets out his new, all colour, televisual computing machine.

We all crowd around the gently glowing phosphorescent tube and wait while the young lad connects the box of tricks to our Post Office telephonic communications point and places a call to the internet. He then enters the commands to take us to the Lister Road web site, which is where you are now.

Here we enjoy the delights of catching up on the latest additions to the Picture Caption Gallery, and vote for those that make Grandma laugh, or we have a right royal knees up finding out the Blues names for all of the family.

You too can enjoy these delights simply by connecting your own televisual computing machine to this site.

If you're not sure how to do this, or what to do once your here you'd better ask Arthur.

I've not a bloody clue.

Yer ever luvin' uncle,

Bert
